“The Heirs of the Kingdom of God”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

The devout of all ages-those members of the Church who have heeded the words of the prophets; those who “had been faithful in the testimony of Jesus while they lived in mortality,” those “who had offered sacrifice in the similitude of the great sacrifice of the Son of God, and had suffered tribulation in their Redeemer’s name,” those who “had departed the mortal life, firm in the hope of a glorious resurrection” (D&C 138:12-14)-these are the seed of Christ, those who have been born again into the Royal Family, those who become heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ to all that the Father has.
