“Who Shall Be His Seed?”

D. Kelly Ogden, Andrew C. Skinner

Abinadi continued to answer questions about Isaiah’s teachings. Upon offering his soul as an offering for sin, Christ will see his seed (Mosiah 14:10). The seed or children of Christ are they who covenant with him and are born of him—spiritually begotten by him—and “changed from their carnal and fallen state, to a state of righteousness, being redeemed of God, becoming his sons and daughters” (Mosiah 27:25; see also 5:7). The seed of Christ, and heirs of the kingdom of God, include all the holy prophets.
