“Satisfied the Demands of Justice”

W. Cleon Skousen

When the plan has been completely executed, Jesus returns to heaven where he has demonstrated that his bowels are filled with mercy or compassion for all mankind and he makes intercession for all who are willing to qualify through repentance and avoid the consequences of sin and the demands of justice because Jesus intercedes on their behalf. None of this is comprehensible until we learn about the hosts of intelligences which give God his power and demand suffering for sin unless Jesus intercedes for those who have qualified for the blessings of the Atonement. Otherwise there are severe and rigid demands for Justice. When we come to Alma chapter 34 we will discuss these heavenly principles so we can understand how the Atonement works.
