The only way to extricate ourselves from any kind of bondage is to cry out to the Lord. For that reason he is called the Savior; he can rescue us from any kind of physical, spiritual, intellectual, or emotional bondage that holds us captive—but not if we are rebellious. We have to be quick to observe his light before he will be quick to respond to our plight.
