Abinadi exhorts the people to repent or the Lord will deliver them into the hands of their enemies. Let us learn that being accepted of the Lord requires repentance. He will have his people be humbled in order that they might repent (see Helaman11:4–11). Our choice in life is to repent in all sincerity or receive the condemnation of the Lord.
