Mormon evidently now begins abridging the original record of Zeniff. Note that chapter 11 is primarily written in the third person, whereas chapters 9 and 10 were written in the first person. Note also how Mormon tells us in one brief statement of the wicked character of King Noah: "he did not walk in the ways of his father."
