“Brought to Heaven”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
To be “brought to heaven” is to receive the peaceful assurance that we will obtain eternal life. We are sealed to Christ when we have received the ratifying sanction of the Holy Spirit of Promise. That is, the Holy Ghost, by placing his stamp of approval upon all the ordinances of salvation into which we have entered, thus assures us that they will be of efficacy, virtue, and force in and after the resurrection (see D&C 132:7).
