“If Ye Judge the Man”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
The constant need to choose that which is right and proper- be it actions or associations- is inherent in the very nature of our mortal probation. Honoring gospel covenants and revering the name of Christ which we have taken upon ourselves require constant judments. To that end the Saints of all ages have been given the gift of the Holy Ghost. The inspired injunction is, “Judge not unrighteously, that ye be not judged; but judge righteous judgment” (JST, Matthew 7:2).
