“There is None Other Salvation”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
Salvation consists in the glory, authority, majesty, power and dominion which Jehovah possesses, taught Joseph Smith, “and in nothing else; and no being can possess it but himself or one like him” (Lectures on Faith 7:9). We are hardly at liberty to pick and choose among various redemptive plans. While it may have been true in the ancient world that all roads led to Rome, it was equally true that there was but one entrance to the Holy of Holies. There is and can be only one salvation, and thus there is and can be only one Savior.
