“Apply the Atoning Blood of Christ”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
The blood of Christ is central to the remission of sins. No matter what the degree of remorse, the extent of restitution, or the compliance with our often-cited list of requisites for repentance, any and all efforts toward godly sorrow and ultimate forgiveness must center in that redemption that is found only in Christ and his atoning blood.
