“Fallen to the Earth”

In many cultures of the ancient world, prostration was a manifestation of reverence, respect, or overwhelming awe. Such instances in the Book of Mormon may represent a distinctive cultural phenomenon. Because such outward manifestations are not as evident among people today, however, it should not be supposed that the truly converted do not experience those same poignant feelings.
