“According to His Works”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
Judgment is by works, as near countless scriptural texts attest. In that eternal tribunal in which each person must give an accounting for his life, the only admissible evidence for the profession of belief will be the way he lived and the desires of his heart. See Alma 41:3; D&C 18:38; D&C 137:9.
