“Glad Tidings of Great Joy”
The message of the gospel is attended by a spirit of rejoicing among all who receive it (see verse 4). These “glad tidings of great joy” centered among the ancients in the prophecy of the birth of Christ and his mortal ministry (see Alma 13:22-26; Luke 2:10).
