“A Neverending Happiness”

Monte S. Nyman

The comparison with those who keep the commandments should be sufficient to bring about a total commitment to serve God and keep his commandments. However, the spiritual blessings are often unnoticed, and often some of the physical blessings are taken for granted. Therefore, we must confess his hand in all things and keep the commandments (see D&C 59:21). We live in a world of sin, and temptations are continually around us, thus we too must “remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it.”

Although King Benjamin’s speech is not ended, the remainder of it is the words of an angel. Because of the length and importance of the angel’s words, we will discuss them in the following chapter.
