Keep the Commandments of God Which Shall Be Delivered to You by My Son

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

Among King Benjamin's parting instructions was an appeal to his devoted people that they follow their newly appointed King's advice and counsel. Just as they had observed his very own, and also as they had hearkened to the words of Mosiah I, who was Benjamin's father, they should attend to Mosiah's commandments which would come to them from God.

As in the past when their fathers kept the Lord's commandments they were benefited and blessed, Benjamin promised similar prosperity, and added the further assurance, "Your enemies shall have no power over you."
