“I Should Declare Unto You This Day That My Son Mosiah Is a King and a Ruler Over You”

In announcing Mosiah as his successor, King Benjamin reminded his people that they had been blessed because they had kept the commandments he and his father had given them. He assured them that those blessings would continue at the hands of Mosiah. It is a religious duty of the Saints in all ages to sustain righteous governments. Without a society of law and order there can be no freedom of worship.
