“He Never Doth Vary from That Which He Hath Said”
Those principles by which salvation comes are ever the same. “All who will have a blessing at my hands,” the Lord said, “shall abide the law which was appointed for that blessing, and the conditions thereof, as were instituted from before the foundation of the world” (D&C 132:5). Paul referred to the gospel message as “hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory” (1 Corinthians 2:7).
