“I Am… Subject to All Manner of Infirmities”

Prophets, like all men, are subject to the frailties of the flesh. Righteousness does not excuse one from the infirmities of mortality. Suffering and pain, self-doubt, and intense feelings of inadequacy are well known to those called to the service of God. Indeed, none suffered the sting of mortality more intently than God’s own Son-Jesus the Christ (Alma 7:11-12).
