King Benjamin testifies that the scriptural records had by the Nephites are true. In so doing, he is not merely saying that they are factually correct, but rather that they contain a trustworthy and faithful account of God’s dealings with the children of men, of the covenants he has made with those of the house of Israel, and of the principles by which salvation comes.
