Mormon had perfect confidence in the power of the Book of Mormon to turn men to Christ; to touch the hearts of sincere readers; to make of all men-particularly the descendants of Lehi-“a delightsome people.” Through receiving the ordinances of salvation and living in harmony with the commandments of God, men and women become happy and delightsome people.
