Mormon tells us repeatedly that he could not include even the hundredth part of the records of his people (see also commentary at 3 Nephi 26:6–11). If he had included all of it, a hundred times more than what we have, we would have, in English, a 53,000-page Book of Mormon instead of a 530-page Book of Mormon.
