Mormon says the writings on the small plates are pleasing to him for many reasons, but especially because they contain so many prophecies concerning the coming of Christ. He says that all of the prophecies relating to the past events have been literally fulfilled and therefore it is safe to conclude that prophecies pertaining to things in the future will also come to pass.
