“For There Is Nothing Which Is Good Save It Comes from the Lord”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

Of necessity, all true religion is revealed religion. A religion that does not claim God as its Father can hardly expect God to claim its adherents as a part of his family. Thus it is fundamental that all true religion contain the ongoing testimony of prophecy, revelation, the ministering of angels, and the manifestation of all spiritual gifts and all good things- “for there is nothing which is good save it comes from the Lord.” (Cf. Alma 5:40; Moroni 7:12.)
