Amaleki says that in order to get through the wilderness, they had to be led with much preaching and prophesying. They were also admonished continually in the word of the Lord. Only by the power of God's arm were they able to get through the wilderness. Finally they emerged into the great Sidon River valley, which was an extensive territory just north of the great strip of wilderness, a land which was called Zarahemla.
