“In the Name of Christ, Ye Shall Receive It”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
How indebted we are to Christ-for it is only in and through his name that things of eternal worth are obtained. We have but one Savior, one atonement, one baptism, one priesthood, and one plan of salvation-the blessings of each come to us in the name of Christ and in none other. The command given our dispensation is: “All things must be done in the name of Christ, whatsoever you do in the Spirit; and ye must give thanks unto God in the Spirit for whatsoever blessing ye are blessed with” (D&C 46:31-32).
