“To Restore the Lamanites Unto the True Faith”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet

Fruits of the Spirit include love, peace, longsuffering, goodness, and faith (Galatians 5:22). One who is moved and motivated by that Spirit seeks to share those same fruits with all men. Thus the Nephites sought endlessly to “reclaim” the Lamanites from their fallen state, to awaken them from their spiritual slumber. These efforts were repeatedly rejected.
