“Meet You Before the Pleasing Bar of God”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

What a daunting assemblage of chosen servants we will encounter on the Day of Judgment! Jacob will be there, according to his testimony. Nephi will be there, too: “You and I shall stand face to face before his bar; and ye shall know that I have been commanded of him to write these things, notwithstanding my weakness” (2 Nephi 33:11). The final words of the Book of Mormon attest that Moroni will also be present, “to meet you before the pleasing bar of the great Jehovah, the Eternal Judge of both quick and dead. Amen” (Moroni 10:34). And many other servants of the Lord will doubtless be present as witnesses to confirm the words of truth that they were commanded to give unto the children of God—words by which we will be judged on that great day of accountability.
