Jacob was familiar with the wisdom expressed by the Hebrews of old and we remember, too, "Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding." (Proverbs 3:13) Also, "Behold, the feat of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil, that is understanding."
