In connection with this verse let us read the words of Isaiah, as recorded in 1 Nephi 21:14. “But, behold, Zion hath said: The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me—but he will show that he hath not.” There are many assurances in Holy Writ that the Lord will remember his covenants with Israel. “The Lord hath been mindful of us; He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.” (Jewish saying)
