Jacob begins with the last part of the allegory, the events of the last days—”even the last time.” Although he has quoted the entire allegory, his answer to the question about the Triumphant Messiah comes in this part of the allegory. Jacob concentrates here, beginning with the missionary work of the servants of the Lord “to nourish and prune his vineyard.”
