“I Have Nourished It This Long Time”

W. Cleon Skousen

Now we learn that the second transplant was placed in an even poorer spot of ground, worse than the first. Nevertheless, it had brought forth good fruit, apparently of the tame variety, and the master ordered that it be harvested also. The master said he had also carefully nurtured this tree for a "long" time. However, we do not have any specific hint as to which branch of Israel it might have been. Since we are finding Israelites on every continent of the globe, this transplant may refer to some of them.
