“According to His Will and Pleasure”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
The Lord’s “will and pleasure” is closely tied to his “work and glory.” God- he who knows all things from the beginning- places individuals and groups in locations and circumstances which will maximize their potential for growth and spiritual development, and that they might serve as the leaven of the loaf. He desires, above all else, their immortality and eternal life (Moses 1:39).
