Jacob said that any person who had his mind opened to the visions of the future could prophesy so it could be plainly understood. He said that whenever the Spirit reveals something, it speaks in terms of reality -- disclosing things as they really are, as they really were and as they really will be. All of this is manifested very plainly in the salvation of mankind. Jacob emphasized that there was nothing new in these things because they had also been witnessed by the prophets of old.
