“His Great Condescensions”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
Christ is the vine, men the branches. To the Twelve Jesus said: “He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:5). Without “his great condescensions”- his sustaining love, his tender mercies, his matchless power- man can never rise above a carnal and unregenerated state.
