“Life Eternal”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
Eternal life is God’s life. It is the kind of life enjoyed by exalted beings. It is distinguished from immortal life, which means to live forever, in that the latter carries with it no promise of exaltation. (See D&C 6:13; D&C 14:7.)
