“The Words… Are True and Faithful”

All gospel truths, that is, the truths of salvation, when properly understood, bring with them assurance and faith- they may be relied upon implicitly. Such truths lift and ameliorate. They never oppress and enslave. Those in possession of such truths find that their confidence waxes strong in the presence of the Lord. Temporal truths, with all their value, bring no such assurance.
