“And Now I Nephi, Make an End of My Prophesying”

D. Kelly Ogden, Andrew C. Skinner

Nephi ended his plain prophesying and his and his brother Jacob’s doctrinal expositions with a few more words about the doctrine of Christ. He reminded us once again of his delight in plainness, noting that God himself speaks the same way. God speaks to men in their language, whether it be pure Adamic, Hebrew, reformed Egyptian, Greek, English, or any other tongue; he reveals at the level of humans’ language ability and their spiritual understanding.
