“As Many as Shall Believe in Christ Shall Also Become a Delightsome People”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

As Nephi comes to the close of his portion of the sacred chronicle, he focuses on the good news—on the fruits of the Restoration in the latter days and on the effects of a revived spirituality among the gathering remnants of Israel and the responsive Gentile nations. Through the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ, new light is introduced into the lives of the faithful as they return to the fold. Their eyes see spiritual things and their hearts perceive spiritual truth. The “scales of darkness” fall away from their eyes and they become pure and delightsome.
