Verse 11 promises that God has communicated with all of his children, and that they have their records of that communication against which they shall be judged. This may or may not mean that there are yet future "Books of Mormon" that might be found. It does mean that God is not limited in his communication to his children. Just as the word "Bible" is perhaps too limiting, as the real problem is the lack of acceptance of new revelation, so here the intent may be to show that God will guide his children how he will, and that his care extends to more than the ancient Jews.
