One of the attributes of God is indicated here. He is not subject to changes as we are. He works in accordance with eternal laws, or rules. If he has caused inspired writings to be given to men at any time, he will do so again, when necessary for their guidance. We may expect "bibles" in different ages and localities. Comp. Heb. 13:4: "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever."
