The precepts of men are not of God. Decisions that matter most need to be made by following the Spirit (see 1 Nephi 4:6; 2 Nephi 32:5). We should trust in the Lord in all things (see 2 Nephi 4:34). Here is a question of conscience: Do we put our trust in man, his precepts, and the arm of flesh—or in God?
