This organization is described in verses 8-18. She teaches false doctrines and is full of pride (v. 9); she persecutes and robs the poor in order to have fine sanctuaries (vv. 10-13); she is corrupt and unjust (vv. 15-16), but she will end in perdition. (vv. 15 and 18)
