These verses clearly indicate that the wickedness of the people at the time when the Book of Mormon comes forth will cause the blood of the Saints to cry from ground against them. No doubt Nephi saw the death and suffering of the Saints as they were driven from Kirtland, from Missouri, from Nauvoo and over 6,000 of them died as they struggled toward the mountains.
