“Take… Advantage… Because of His Words”

One who seeks to ensnare another because of his words, who eagerly waits to make another an “offender for a word” (2 Nephi 27:32), who lays verbal traps for his fellowmen—such a one is of the devil, his reward from beneath and not from above. The charitable person rejoices not in iniquity nor in the mistakes or misfortunes of others, but rather in their successes (see Moroni 7:45; cf. commentary on 2 Nephi 27:31).
