The indignation of the Lord is reflected in verse 20. He will not allow the learned to work on these plates for they have rejected them. Instead the Lord will reveal to Joseph Smith the perfect text of the Book of Mormon as it is translated into English. However, he warns Joseph Smith to not attempt to use his great gift on the sealed portion of the plates because they are not to come forth until due time of the Lord.
