Reference is here made to a millennial day, a glorious era when the wolf shall lie down with the lamb; when sin and wickedness will no longer be the order of the day; when violence and oppression will have been cleansed from the earth by fire; and, most appropriately, when “the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Isaiah 11:6-9).
“It seems apparent, under all the circumstances, that the sealed portion of the Book of Mormon will not come forth until after the Lord Jesus comes. ” (Bruce R. McConkie, The Millennial Messiah, p. 114; see also pp. 149-50) “In that day,” a modern revelation states,
“When the Lord shall come, he shall reveal all things—things which have passed, and hidden things which no man knew, things of the earth, by which it was made, and the purpose and the end thereof—things most precious, things that are above, and things that are beneath, things that are in the earth, and upon the earth, and in heaven” (D&C 101:32-34).
