Joseph Smith’s translation of the Book of Mormon fulfills this prophecy. The book was translated by the power of the Lord, so it would be “read by the power of Christ.” The missionary effort of spreading the gospel fulfills the prediction that it “shall be read upon the house tops.”
The verse’s last sentence may contradict this reading, as it deals with the revelation of things past and future. However, the prophetic mode of collapsing time may simply be a later phase of the prophecy, or it may have a parallel fulfillment in the return of living prophets to the earth.
