The peculiar thing about the Book of Mormon is that part of it is sealed. The sealed portion contains a prophetic history of the world which was recorded by an ancient prophet. It tells the whole history of mankind from the time of Adam down to the end of the millennium, all part of God's foreknowledge of things to come.
