“The Words of a Book”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
The phrase words of a book refers to the message from the Book of Mormon.

“The Lord God Shall Bring Forth Unto You the Words of a Book”

The long night of apostate darkness comes to an end! The day of restoration is upon us! Nephi beholds in vision the coming forth of a book, a valuable book, a precious book of scripture, a part of whose content would be withheld until that day when the inhabitants of the earth are worthy and prepared to break the seal placed upon it.

Nephi, looking down through the stream of time, witnesses in vision the ministry of the “choice seer,” Joseph Smith, and bears testimony of the miraculous manner in which the Book of Mormon would be brought forth through the humble labors of the unlearned.
