“Ye Shall Be Drunken but Not with Wine”

Many who are without the fulness of the gospel but who reject that fulness when it is available wander in a stupor of sin (see D&C 84:51); they are frequently among those who have imbibed the liquors of a licentious world and are intoxicated with immorality and idolatry and inebriated with apathy. Their vision is dim and their judgment faulty. They are without the living God in the world, having chosen to live after the manner of that world.
